What's New?

    SEPTEMBER  2008

August 28, 2008!

It was a powerful day for me. Not only was it the final day of the Democratic National Convention, I received, hot off the press, the first copies of my  latest book.

Titled "Red Light Green Light", it's a novel unlike any other I've written. And the advance reviews have been phenomenal.

The Midwest Book Review declared: A book so memorable it will become a classic in years to come”

Here's the synopsis:

Craig Stevens is forty-five years old and a recovering crack addict. Forty-one days clean when the novel opens, his world is rocked when one fateful September morning, 9/11 happens. With everything falling down around him, thoughts of an old love—Gazelle—comes to mind. He sets out to find her, to make sure she’s okay, but the pitfalls along the way doesn’t make it easy. With vivid detail and a gritty landscape, Red Light Green Light is the "Butterscotch Blues" of crack addiction, taking you through it and beyond...

Every now and then I write a novel that I consider my personal best. Red Light Green Light is such a book. Described as the "Butterscotch Blues" of crack addiction, I promise that this book was well worth the wait. You will not be able to put it down until you read the final word--promise!

I will be doing signings, so make sure to check the 'Appearances' tab periodically. I'm looking forward to see you all, and giving out all those hugs I love to give...

As always, I invite you all to drop me a line at: mjhodge@bellsouth.net. Until next time, may your life be filled with love, light, and understanding. Until next time,

Peace and Blessings,

 Margaret
